Is there any tool to convert Sampletank to Kontakt or Halion?

Apologies in advance because I'm not familiar with Sampletank.
But if this doesn't work (and it converts for most formats) then I'll be surprised. It's very good and worth the 69 Euros:

It does, but it only supports Sampletank 1.x files, not ST 2.x.
OTOH Chicken Systems Translator supports Sampletank 2.x files, but not any 2pac compressed files, of which there are quite a number in ST2. Extreme Sample Convertor DOES support 2pac compressed files, but only for ST 1.x format.
So between the pair you can get MOST of it done, but not ALL of it.

My main tools: Kontakt, Omnisphere, Samplemodeling + Audio Modeling. Unify = godsend. Tari's libraries also rock.

To add some trivia, without 3rd party apps you can't make a SampleTank file. Most SampleTank files are made by either IK Multimedia or Sonic Reality. In SampleTank you can make presets based on SampleTank instruments (.stip files) but not the sth/sti/stw triad of files that are the instruments.
So IK really intends the SampleTank Instrument to be "factory sounds" and frowns on using them in other non-IK instruments (not that they can do anything about it). Most companies protect their factory libraries now, and that's understandable. People often scavenge factory libraries (assuming they're free, they aren't) for sounds using convertors to get them into their format. Companies are getting wise to that, of late.
