Rebirth is not a Vst pluggin but operates as a pluggin in any DAW which supports Rewire as well as its origional manifestation as a standalone.e@rs wrote:Rebirth was my first software purchase and I still love it but is not a plugin. If memory serves, from the top of my head it actually predates Vst and Rewire technology. (Incidentally 'Pluggin' doesn't only refer to Vst/Vsti/RTAS/AU applications but also to secondary software applications which can be utilized to effect from within the operation of a range of a/v programs typically either as a filter or virtual instrument.)
So whilst it is true it didn't actually begin its life as a pluggin it soon came to be used as one.

The deadline is over but I don't think enough people voted to make the results significant.
If this is to be for real, I'd think there needs to be way more publicity, more time, and maybe something to win.
Cheers,
Tom

Why? It's "Readers' Choice" -- if people didn't read it, they're not getting the choice. No point having people who don't read the forum turning up just to rig the responses, is there?ThomasHelzle wrote:The deadline is over but I don't think enough people voted to make the results significant.

Hm. I personally would have been interested in reading way more responses.
Always interesting to see what people actually use and love in reality.
As it was done, it was way below the radar, I only stumbled upon it by accident.
Doesn't really matter, but anyway
Cheers,
Tom

Yeah, made good reading -- which is possibly more useful than prizes . (What is Zebra 2, anyway?)
