Hi, I bought recently Steinberg UR22 sound card and I'm pretty happy with it.
One problem is that with the card I got Cubase AI6 license, but on the Steinberg's site they sell the card with Cubase AI7 (* when it will be available).
I wonder how much time can it take them to make it available??
Also, I'm considering to upgrade to Elements7 version, but I need for that to have AI7 or no?

I don't believe you do , as long as you leave the license on your computer the al licence stays soft .
Here's a thread about the topic on Steinberg for you to look through quite a bit of it is relevant

Hello GreenhouseMG,
You definitely do not need a USB eLicenser for Cubase Elements 7.
It works with the soft-eLicenser just like Cubase AI6.
Best regards,
GN

As a registered UR22 user, I just received an e-mail from Steinberg stating that Cubase AI 7 is available for download from my MySteinberg account. Don't know about the upgrade path from AI7 to Elements 7, so find out about that from Steinberg.
