Fixed delay feedback bug:

http://www.u-he.com/downloads/Satin/Satin102Win.zip
http://www.u-he.com/downloads/Satin/Satin102Mac.zip

this one should fix a bug where delay feedback could be noisy if the buffersize isn't fixed at a multiple of 16.

Please let us know asap so we can upload it as official version (and send newsletter)

Thanks,

- Urs

Please check if crashes in Group Controller are gone, i.e. loading songs or templates with grouped Satins should work

Presets saved with locked Parameters should also be resurrected now and load just fine

With enough feedback qwe can still release today :)

Thanks,

We'll leak some more info here shortly as we're praparing the release on Monday.

We'll also collect feedback from the brave people who try the beta.

Update:

Ok... ready for sanity checks:

[old link removed]

Fixes a few bugs that were still in the one leaked before. A few remaining niggles will be fixed till Monday.

If you're very brave and if you're distressed by the vinyl crackles of the demo mode, you can become an early adopter here:

KNOWN ISSUES

I'll post *major* issues here once we confirm them:

- Cubase stalls when Tape Bypass or Flanger range are changed (problem in Cubase, we'll work out a workaround)

- support for Win XP broken since 1818 (we're onto it, please use 1807 meanwhile:

http://www.u-he.com/downloads/Satin/Satin1807Win.zip

#----

regarding Cubase crashes... please try those with Cubase/Nuendo

Note: You must have above versions installed first before using these.

Why there is no link to zip in first post of this thread?

Hmm, I already managed to snatch Rev1818 at 2:52 PM today… is there yet another build coming up?

Btw, the included User Guide PDF is still the one without those ToC bookmarks.

Not sure yet... we had some cake because it's Rob's and Sascha's birthday... might not happen before later or tomorrow

At least we've got some stress tests done with 1818 and it looks good.

The manual underwent some changes. We'll get a TOC tool and then do this... hopefully before Monday.

I crashed Reaper 64 (latest version)pretty hard saving a song with multiple Satin instances while it was playing. Reaper hung and I couldn't even kill the process but I succeeded in restarting the machine by pulling out the USB interface. That is the only issue I found with that beta in an hour or two of working multiple instances in a tune.

Just updated to 1818 and will work some more.

Post

I was just having multiple instances of brownie cake myself. Now I know why. :)

Happy birthday, Sascha and Rob!

Post

Happy b-day, fellas!

Post

Which of Satin's controls did you use to instantiate the brownie cakes?

Post

Happy Birthday indeed to Sascha and Rob.
