Double click the title bar of the dialog. Just tested on Win 8, but I'm quite sure it worked the same way in Win 7, too.

I'm not against developers dropping support. I get that.
I just won't buy the products or install updates.

Good. So there's no problem after all then, as I'm guessing no one is forcing you to update/upgrade.

Two other things I like: dragging a window to the top or the sides of the screen and the search function in the start menu (hit Windows key and type away). Excellent usability improvements.

Personally I find AeroPeek, as utilised by DexPot and Bins, provides a massive UI improvement over anything XP offered for any kind of dock/taskbar/desktop type management.

My other major gripe is the need to open Internet Explorer to access my Windows Explorer favourites.

XP and EnergyXT2 are married on my PC

XP-SP3 boots very fast

EXT2 starts up in 2 seconds

i dont have use for more than 3GB of ram to sequence
music on my daw.

my PC doesnt connect to the internet or have a browser.
it connects to a shared folder on my laptop over netbui

EXT2 serves all my sampler and HD recording needs under XP and controls all
my hardware analog and FM synths via EXT2 perfectly.

some people just realize that upgrading the OS to accomodate
more complicated and bloated software is actually
counterproductive when it comes time to make music.

AeroPeek is in Windows 7. Its a popup preview of the screen of whatever you hover over on the taskbar. That can be running applications, or a virtual desktop, or whatever. Once you've seen it you'll then know what it is, much like any new feature of XP you were unfamilar with until you tried it

I work predominantly in DOS and I think its a disgrace that major software developers do not support it. I mean, come on, how difficult can it be to make a DOS only version of Zebra 2?
