I think it's been said in several places that they've discontinued work on Breaktweaker (this is the curse of the revived old thread making it look like there's news). I'm a huge fan of iZotope FX-wise, but this experience has put me off buying any VIs from them - really not very clever to introduce a new product only half finished, then abandon it.
And the same counts for Iris 2, a half-baken instrument which was left behind with some serious bugs and hasn't been updated in 15 months.
Ouch. Can only mean that it didn't sell too well. Otherwise the devs would be all over it in the perpetual upgrade circle. Kind of sad - I was keeping an eye on it.

Continuing to develop a product versus continuing to support it are two separate things.

Just because its for sale, does not mean it will be developed further. Also sadly... since others are reporting issues of bugs, perhaps for Izotope, "supporting" a product has a loose definition.
