I was just thinking the other day about a niche in trance that hasn't been exploited yet:

Yup, set some uplifting trance beat to good ol' hymns to bring them up to date

Your audience might be pretty limited (to Christians), and they won't play it in most churches because of all the old people...

Yeah, like christian rock is only listened to in churches and by old people ?

The thing that psalms and (much of) trance have in common is a focus on creating uplifting euphoria, should be a good match.

Well, back in the '90s, if I remember well, there was already that Gregorian Chant sort of trance adaptation or something like that...
