I was thinking mainly of plugin synths - if I add standalones I should probably add Metasynth too.Iu Gob wrote:ZynAddSubFX

ZynAddSubbFX VST v2.4.1.496beta works very well. I use it very often (Windows). Regards.

Hi,
3 of my modular synths:
Kx-Synth-x16, +/- 10 volts with frequency display
Kx-PolyM-CSE, +/- 10 volts with frequency display
Kx-PolyMod, +/- 10 volts with frequency display

I can't try these as they are Windows - how do they support microtuning? I can't tell from the gui. Do they enable import of scales or saving scales at least?kx77free wrote:Hi,

Hi,
No exactly but perhaps I'm wrong about this subject.
Because I emulate a classic VCO, I can precisely control the amount of the modulation of the keyboard in volts
The rules is 1 volt per octave, 1 note =1 volt/12 following the adjustment of the keyboard tracking and what you see on the frequency display, up to millivolt values.
ex: with -10 the bass are on the upper of the keyboard.
5 is half
etc...
No limits!
On the poly version of the kx-Synth-x16 you can adjust the keyboard tracking for each Vco of each voice,18 Vcos with unison...
If you talk about the Midi message, some of them should support that with the Unisonfix.sem but I never tested and probably that do not work in their actual version because the Midi message is filtered before.

Serum now supports microtuning.
As for Waldorf synths - they said "maybe someday" when I asked them, it was couple years ago and still nothing changed. I guess they forgot about it.

I doubt they'll ever implement it. I think they push for in-DAW retuning from inside the Cubase, which sounds good on paper but not in real life.Kullervo wrote:I'd love Padshop to have microtuning support...

MIcrotuning from the DAW side is essentially pitch bend data, which works as well as can be hoped in MIDI. IE: install Scala, their .mid files are all about pitch bend data.
The Cubase microtuning MIDI effect is pitch bend data. I don't know if they addressed this in later versions, but C5's is all based on C so useless otherwise.

Serum added, so is this a new beta?
