been searching for tech info, but can't find it,so i thought i'd ask the good people here for some straight advice.
it's usb on one end but what is the small end called?
i'm using a short old printer cable etc, which seems to be working, but i need a longer cable and needed to know if it requires a certain quality type to carry all the midi data.
i'm all ears,cheers!

Nothing special, a simple USB-cable was enough here.

ok,cool,thanks.
but what is that end called? cos it's not a regular usb, same as a printer,it's kinda smaller and square.
