What an amazing synth. Most inspiring synth I bought in a long time, nice!

Both my soundsets for Serum Sonic Tabulator and Tabula Rasa are discounted at 22% through May 24th.

i still didnt played much with them but i can recommend those soundsets as you have also a lot of DRY waves in them and replacing the sources in serum gives you already nearly new soundpresets! love the synth!

Time for some new sounds all made with Serum and maybe a tweaked preset here and there.

Never realised how fun sound design can be (read, turning knobs untill it sounds intressting) and how much it can give you your own sound. Does that make sense? Anyway to get to know more about these WIP (Serum experimental playground) read the discription on soundcloud.

And as always be warned; I got hit by a piano one day. Ever since ...

I've just downloaded the demo as I need a new wavetable synth, sounds great!
However, it's smashing my CPU to bits and I thought my computer would take it.
Seems to eat up much more than anything like Diva & Razor.

My system:
OSX 10.9.5
3.5 GHz Intel Core i7
32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
1tb SSD

My problem is I want it for the large pads & intricate sequences.
Is 44k recommended in my situation or any other CPU saving tips? Thanks!

I'd still love that last one answered, very close to purchasing this despite the CPU hog, working in 44 is helping a lot!

Can anyone tell me if there's a sample & hold (random) option for the LFO.

Drawing in a random line in the LFO grid is just too time consuming! Cheers

I've now added this S&H mode for the Chaos oscillators in the latest beta for reg'd users - top of the Serum forum, on http://www.xferrecords.com

For those experiencing cpu issues, imh(umble)o, I would also recommend turning down the amount of oversampling and the amount of voices. I don't have a mega machine, but I've found that especially the latest version is fine. You can experiment with the various settings, but I don't think you always need the absolute best setting that Serum is capable of in order to get very good results. Again, imho, Serum at its worst setting is often better than some synths at their highest settings.

If in doubt, just download the demo and experiment. Also... I figure that in another year I will most likely have a newer machine and what is an issue for me today will probably not be an issue for me tomorrow. (Just saying.) On the other hand, I fully expect Serum to be around for a long time to come! :)

Weird, I can access it now, and have been able to in the past few days as well.

No chance, I tried from several devices and it doesn't work at all.

http://www.xferrecords.com/ works for me, as does www.xferrecords.com/my_account.

However, http://www.xferrecords.com/user spits back a 404 and a tongue-in-cheek "These aren't the droids you're looking for". :hihi:

If it were easy, anybody could do it!
