Rob Papen show today on his Facebook Page the new synth RAW
He said:
"Today checking out RAW (our next new synth...)
Using Modulation Wheel to control the 'length' of the Reverb and filter.

Well, it has a bit of artifacts..but I like it

RAW has the focus on distorted sounds, but this one (clean sound) is cool in combo with the reverb and changing the reverb 'length'.

RAW is not out yet. Release is planned for early December. We are working now on the presets and beating the last bugs

too bad he has 5000 friends, i tried to add him, his profile has too many friend, i have to follow now,
I think it looks cool, i can't wait until it comes out so i can buy it on introductory offer.

Yea just saw this. Looking interesting. How does it compare to the recent RE? Is this one taking focus over any of the previous synths (i.e. Predator)?

Very cool. I really like the Rob Papen synths. It's been quite a busy year for Rob Papen hasn't it? I'm excited to see the specifics of this synth.

Unless the GUI is huge, the controls and labels seem hard to read. Papen always assumes people have 20/20 vision

The name seems appropriate for the sound, though

Sounds a bit too raw for my tastes (or distorted / digital) but that fm sound was really nice to my ears, was surprised by that.

From my experience synths that can be pushed to do hard/raw sounds well can also work nicely for airy abstract sounds.

I bet this one turns out to be versatile and capable of some nice warm pads too.

I bought /and later sold/ RG, I really like it, also Predator sounds good and maybe I'll buy it, but this newbie I don't like. Not bad, but... you know... not cup of my tea. GUI does not make any sound, but it is wierd. Not interested in this one.
