Hi,
I love FxPansion's Geist, and was curious if there will be a next generation Geist 2 in the near future ? This would be awesome ! but ... So far I have no clue if this is going to happen.
Any clues, or buzz about this ?
Thanks,
Muziksculp

True, Maybe it will start with a G (Guru -> Geist -> G....) any guesses what they will call it ?carrieres wrote:i don't think, FXpansion does not upgrade this line of products ...
DR-008 -> Guru -> Geist
Whatever they name it, it's going to be the next thing up from Geist. I'm hoping it won't be too long until we find out its name, and most likely, we will have to pay full price for it, since they don't do upgrades.
Cheers,

What about BFD > BFD2 > BFD3 then ?
Geist is great, but it could really do with some new features.

I don't care what they call it, I just want it to have an upgrade path so I can save money. Geist is the only drum software I will ever use. Nothing is as good (in my opinion) in the software realm.

So what is the need for v2, except burning upgrade money?LimboLoves wrote:Nothing is as good (in my opinion) in the software realm.

Just want to point out that the sentence above means you think FXPansion WILL upgrade Geist. When I think you meant, you think they won't.carrieres wrote:i don't think, FXpansion does not upgrade this line of products ...
If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer

I'd call it Gear...Muziksculp wrote:(Guru -> Geist -> G....) any guesses what they will call it ?
Imagine the marketing possibilities: i.e. a renowned forum called "Gearslutz", people around the world talking about their gear...etc.
