Hi,
Suppose you don't have automap (Novation) but you have a controller with enough knobs and sliders.... How can you control the vst synths ? Hummm.. Suppose the synth don't have MIDI Learn.
Cheers!

with MUX and MIDI learning, nice front panel can be created to any VST+MUX device modular environment and knobs can be mapped to MIDI controls

Chapter 11 in the manual is exactly about this. It is a small and easy to read chapter. I'm sure you will manage it after that.cowby wrote:Hi,

Simple - that's what 'Control Link' is for. Just setup control link with mappings to your hardware controller, then you can assign any control link knob to any plugin using drag and drop of params onto the knob you want to map. The beauty of this is you only need to create a control link device once and can then use it with any synth or effect (as well as the S1 gui).
