AAS Chromaphone and edrums/drumpads

Greetings,

Downloaded the demo version of this. It works great with my keyboard controllers. However, when I plug in my Alesis Controlpad or DM6, a note only triggers every few hits. This happens both in stand alone mode and in Mainstage. i found one work around in Mainstage by assigning all 8 pads of my Controlpad to the same midi #.

Has anyone else tried using Chromaphone with drums pads/edrums?
