FOS "MELLOWJELLO-drumkit" (for Kontakt 5.1) / natural sound with 20x RR
If you like this unique, characterful and "beatlesque" sound of dry drums, you will enjoy
the "MELLOWJELLO-drumkit".
This drumkit has got 20x RR (alternative samples) on each velocitylayer on basedrum, (teatowel)-snare, high hat (close/ open) and toms; 12x RR on two crashes and two rides. I recorded it in our music hall.
The "MELLOWJELLO-drumkit" sounds organic, "beckish", vibey and it got a humanized touch that I missed in a lot of (expensive) drumlibraries out there.
Please take a listen to the examples!
https://soundcloud.com/facets-of-sounds ... lo-drumkit
Here are the main features:
- MELLOWJELLO-drumkit.nkm for Kontakt 5.1 (48khz/24bit)
- 20x RR on each velocity-layer
- it's not a harddisk-muncher: only 100MB (NCW lossless)
- GM-mode
I think, you'll love this drumsound and you'll enjoy to play it with your keyboard.
Best Regards!

Is there a product homepage maybe?
Seeing as you have several sets for sale as well, I find the information a bit scarce. There is no info on the SoundCloud page, though I like what I hear. Then again - if I get another drum kit, I'd love to know more. And why it needs Kontakt 5.1 for this.
What is the setup of the set?
(like: kick in/kick out, snare top/bottom or just top, Glyn Johns mic technique or regular A/B with direct mics, OH channel, tom amount and sizes, etc)

I saw your post over at Gearslutz and took a chance. Downloading right now.
What can it be?Till 3/3/15 every FOS-customer ("LOVELY-drumkit" or "uku-LOVELY-strummer")
receives a mail with a nice offer.
Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.

So uhm... wait... I happen to have LOVELY Drumkit from the first promotion (just did monthly backups), but I haven't used it so far.
But I do remember a nice contact in German?
Still no webpage however.
And also no Mail with a nice offer.
Will keep my eye on this...

@Aloysius: You're right, they sound LOVELY!
Here are some more infos about the "MJ-kit":
For this session, the small room was absolutely dead and the drummer played softly.
Everything was close mic:
- Slingerl. kick: Sennheiser MD421
- towels on Ludw. Supra.: Sennheiser MD441/MD441
- cymbals: MD441
- toms: MD441
just a little bit EQ / Compr (slow attack/quicker rls) / Saturation (FXs)
Kontakt 4 would be better I don't find the option in Kontakt to downgrade it from K5 to K4.
@Compyfox: I wrote you a pm.
