Is there an editor similar to Iris or a good advanced editor for removing or isolating certain frequencies for iPad?

Nice thought...
Try Boulanger's CSSpectral or CSGrain- similar idea and realtime FFT display:
http://www.boulangerlabs.com/products/csspectral/
Suggest downloading the 80pg CSSpectral manual, go to pp12+
All the others I know that are similar to Iris are primarily synths, granular or spectral -- not strictly editors (like RX. I hear WavePad editor does spectral NR and the Hokusai audio editor is from an active dev but I never tried either)
Quite a few synths ex: iPulsaret iDensity Borderlands ... Borderlands uses a touch-based grain cloud approach to samples that sounds nice, and is closest to Iris of all the apps that I know.
