Hi

Happy New Year and here is a small free gift for OS X users.

I found the source of Vincent Spader's Cog music player and enhanced it with Xcode.

Some new features:
- OS X 10.10 & 10.11 compatible (requires 10.10+)
- Levelmeter
- Insert & Bypass an Apple AU effect in Cog
- Bit/Samplerate info in statusbar

Here is my version: http://www39.zippyshare.com/v/9sC9ATlZ/file.html

Cheers & Pump up that volume!

Fantastic - thanks for updating this great app - still the only OS-X player that allows you to browse your music collection the way you have structured it instead of by tags. Looks nicer, I like the way the browser bar is integrated rather than a popout window, and the colour scheme is more modern looking. Only thing I prefer in the original is the position and size of the transport buttons and play position slider, I still think this is better all together and on the left, and with a bigger play/pause button. It is much neater in the original and the eye is immediately drawn to its position, where in the new version it is tiny and competing with other elements, and the position slider is too far from the transport controls.

Would be nice to see album art as part of the interface though - maybe a cover browse view or at least a larger file list option with covers showing.

Here is a version i think is 10.6 - 10.11 compatible but cannot test 10.6 as i have only 10.11

I just realised you have taken out the Apple remote support - I was using that, can you put it back please?

Wow that was fast, thanks.

What is the Mini mode button supposed to do because for me it just makes the app vanish completely to the Dock which I could do with the minimise button already? I don't see any mini player, which is what I had expected.

it was for a smaller player windows, but it gave problems so removed it...

I still have it (if I customise the toolbar it's still there) - it just doesn't work
