Uniwire with Windows 10 64 bit

I have recently bought a new PC which has a wireless connection to connect to my router, which is located downstairs in my house. As a result, I have been able to connect my Receptor to the network, which I wasn't able to do before without trailing a long cable downstairs.

I decided to install Uniwire on my new PC - I haven't used this for a few years, since I had to relocate my router. However, it doesn't seem to work.

My Receptor is connected to my router using a TP Link powerline adapter that is plugged into the mains socket, with the router connected to a similar adapter at the other end. On starting up the Receptor, I note that it appears on the PC network, and if I instantiate the uniwire plugin in Sonar X1 (which is my DAW), it "lights up" and shows that it is connected to the Receptor. Clicking on the remote control icon allows me to view the GUI from my PC.

However, whatever patch I load into my Receptor, I cannot hear any sound when trying to play it using my MIDI keyboard. I have noticed that the uniwire GUI does not contain the name of the patch that is loaded - I am sure this was not the case when I previously used it.

I did read an earlier post where there appeared to be an issue using Uniwire with Windows 7 - I am assuming the same issue will prevent me being able to use it with Windows 10. Is this correct ?

Has anyone been able to find a way to use Uniwire with a Windows 10 64 bit PC ?

Thanks for your help

Peter
