At first I thought the band The Ocean Blue had released a new album entitled Electropop. Lol
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.

Nice popish, light hearted track!

I was thinking maybe it could use some ocean sound at the beginning also.

Post

catchy lead! I like the ocean sounds at the end as the song sails away :)

haha wow, i used a loop from a loop pack for the plucks. its quit possible they used the same one.
as you can hear, their plucks have vocals layered all over the top. ie; i didn't sample them from this song.
the melody is similar indeed, but not identical if you listen closely.
not only that, i've never heard this song before, imagine that!

Very effective! I can imagine getting out my captain's hat and setting sail. I especially like the kind of "cute" synth voice that you're using for those high accent notes.

Enjoyable instrumental music.. Nice ambiance... Well mixed tracks sounds good.

Post

This is one of your best, I think. The sounds chosen mesh together very well when needed, and also provide variation at the right points. I liked the melody and the mix too. You've dialled back the reverb a little on here, and it gives this a strong pop-vibe without sounding like mainstream cliche. Those pads are really nice.

Good work :)

With those plucks, you've left the 80s behind. If you found a singer, this could be in the current Top 40. It's not exactly my taste but an interesting twist nonetheless.

The mix is good if a little bass heavy. Good work. 8)

Nice happy track. Sounds very optimistic!
Cool organ...
Well done!

well, i went a little back to basics on this. a little exersize in structure and flow more
than anything. good idea about a singer, it would also stretch it out with the sung parts!

haaha, i get that its not your taste, its not really mine either, but i kind
of wanted to swing over to the happy side after my last tune!

as far as the bass, i think i let a tad too much energy get by at around the 50hz freq.
I should have started the master EQ highpass cut slope at 60hz. thanks for pointing that out ol' chum!

i'll watch that next time!

become when including ocean, rain, toilet flushes, etc...
