Mixing and mastering practice combined with drum pattern practice.
Mellow little synth tune.
Feedback appreciated.
Thanks.

The mix sounds very good as do the drum patterns. Much improved over your earlier efforts.
The piece is nice but stays in the same place throughout instead of developing.

This is where I struggle, Frantz.
An issue with almost everything I create.
I'll find a melody that I like but for the life of me, I just can't build upon it.
For all the technical aspects that I try to improve upon, the building of a fleshed out piece from the initial idea eludes me.
I suppose this also has a lot to do with the fact that my compositions come from a practice session.
My tunes tend to be the result of a few hours work. Not worked on for multiple sessions, over days or weeks.
If anyone would like to collaborate to work on and build upon a tune with me, I'd really like that.
Cheers.

one trick i use alot, and i think anyone who listens to my tracks can pick up on it, is i craft a melody
then chop it up and introduce small bits of it in the beggining and slowly add more as the song plays along.
then alternate the bits between different instruments to introduce some variety in that sense as well.
yeah, you come a long way in the production side too. keep it up!
