Since I donated some time ago, I was checking Terry West's site again to see if he got anything new and interesting.
And I noticed - among the usual and ever more refined mastering plugins - the reverb T-Verb, downloaded it, loaded in my old 32-bit version of Mixcraft (Terry West stuff is all 32 bit), and I think it sounds very good for bargain donationware :)

I have never seen it mentioned anywhere on KVR, but I think it deserves a mention, and maybe some donating customers :)

For 32 bit only you'd be better off with the free (non Synth Edit) Ambience:

Well, I am not looking for a 32-bit reverb, I use the 64-bit TB reverb, which is enough for me.

I was merely impressed by the plugins Terry West makes with SE, and thought that probably very few people know his reverb...

The word “donation” is being used incorrectly here; it is not possible to download T-Verb without paying Terry West a mandatory “donation” to obtain his utilities. I define “donation” in the context of VSTs as a product whose web page says “here’s a download link, which you can use free of charge” and also says “here’s a donation link, where you can give me money with PayPal if you like my product and wish to support me”.

You do get a lot for 10 Euros: A clarity processor, a VST that makes frequencies below a given cutoff mono, T-Verb, a stereo ping-pong delay, a noise gate, a tape simulator, tube amp simulator, an exciter, and a whole bunch of other interesting plugins.

Yes, I know, several developers do that. But PP don't seem to mind when the donation button is used that way...
I guess it is developers who feel overwhelmed by VAT regulations and other duties arising from a regular business.

Some of those Terry West mastering plugins with huge GUIs and TONNES of controls are quite stunning - wish they went 64-bit.

My reply was directed at someone who might be tempted by your post to "donate" for a 32 bit Reverb when there is a (now) free version of Ambience which is still regarded as a top Reverb.

For the record I donated for Ambience back in the day and there is a 64 bit version although only for Mac. I suppose it's possible that someone might do a 64 bit version of Ambience some day which will not likely ever happen for T Verb unless Synth Edit does finally go 64 bit.

If Ambience ever goes go 64 bit on Windows I will happily add it to my arsenal but I don't see much point in bridging a reverb when I have so many 64 bit verbs. Sanford verb being my choice for top free 64 bit Reverb.
