vurt did a nice long 23.42 minute M42 piece called Totem24. I took the original piece, and cut it to 5 minutes or so, and added some things:
1.A layered synth with M42, EMU MP7 with custom pad patch called Tentacles which uses the Z-plane filters ( if you have Composer ROM or a EMU P2000, you can grab the patches from PA) , a layer of Receptor. This makes up the bell like atmospheric texture which is like Klaus's Mirage piece. It was played from the MP7 1 octave keyboard, so it has a very nice percussive kind of feel.
2. A M42 nebula lead with real time control from a UC16 knob box.
3.Percussion Kit played in by hand from the Mp7. Had the MDA auto panner to pan it around a bit.
4.Space guitar plugged into Receptor. Performance by yours truley
vurts stuff is the squelchy bass and RYMs created from 4 M42 nebulas'.
Recorded and rendered in Tracktion
Sorta like vurt meets prog, the Ozrics and Klaus
It's here:

EDIT: Edited the subject to match vurts original post..and it might get more reads according to his theory
