Hi all, first post. Looong time user of zasfx in lmms.
Listening to the drumkits, I started to wonder where the actual sounds for the output is kept -That is IF it is soundfiles at all..
Most are synthesized with zasfx, but surely not barking dog or cat miav...
Those, among some others -i cant believe are anything but wave-files..?
If they are wavefiles, i have an idea for lmms, but the idea depends on being able to allocate soundfiles to zasfx' instruments, on different keys.
Is that possible, or is all sound-effects actually synthesized inside zasfx ?
(drum)kits -where are the samples

Zyn cannot load any .wav/soundfont/etc files. All sounds output by zyn are synthesized from the parameters given to the synth.
You can allocate different synthesis engines to different keys (see the windows/views on instrument kits), which is what drum kits typically do.
