Is this comparable to Logic’s drummers.

I can't find anything which details the enhancements/changes between v3 and v4. Does such a document/web page exist? If the only change is to the interface, then I will pass.....

There's a lot more changed than just the interface. Here is a link with a summary of changes:

I havent upgraded to 4 yet, but in comparison to logic's drummer, it is WAY more powerful, but not quite as easy to use. IMO

It's a great program, but terrible/ugly interface. I was hopeful for the GUI redo and basically it's still the same ugly assed fixed asset GUI with some extra stoplight colors. But, once you figure out what the stuff does, it's really cool.
If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer

Thanks. Impressive indeed, and looks like it will be well worth the upgrade cost. Keep up the great work.

It's already on sale so I don't think you'll see it any cheaper this tear.

Here is a quick walkthrough of Jamstix 4. It might not be interesting for those familiar with the program, but perhaps it will be helpful for those who have never used it before.

Well, only if you buy it new.
Upgrade prices remain the same though.

@Zauni (Ralph Zeuner):
Quick Q though for those of us that have the Studio XXL Bundle (old versions), but lack the majority (well, in my case I think actually all) of the Mini Paks... will there ever be an upgrade path with a reduced bundle price?

There is currently only the 4-Pak bundle (9+9+19+19 = 56USD, reduced to 49USD - sans LinearFunk and Breakbeat), not a 6-Pak bundle. Unless these paks found their way into the v4 Studio upgrade?

Also, I should mess about with the Free version first this time before upgrading. Though I already see, that the drummers are still fairly "cryptic" written in terms of description (so many drummers with similar first names!).

And... I'd still love to see that second HiHat feature! Nightwish Power Metal Kits all the way!
