Well, it was a long time in the making but here it is. The pilot episode of my new sitcom, Timeshare. I play all the parts and wrote all the music. Now listening to "Wicked Whims": really like the drums and percussion; what did you use for that? A different style of song from the wagmaster, and I like it! Catchy hooks, and everything sounds good!

Hey Aaron. The percussion was from UVI Falcon. Something I rarely use percussion for. Yes, it was a bit different for me especially structurally, which I'll get into one of these days. It follows a more modern structural form.aaron aardvark wrote: ↑Sun Nov 12, 2023 6:50 am wagtunes,

Now listening to "Let's Just Do It": a more distorted sound than usual for wagtunes, though it works quite well. Did you apply the distortion to the entire mix, or individual tracks? What distortion did you use? While all of the melodies are very good, I find the first half of the chorus ("Let's just do it") especially effective. All of the vocals (whether wags or sampled) sound very good too!

Hi Aaron. I used RC-20 retro color on the piano and drums. That plugin really can dirty things up. I don't use it often. On the 2 buss I used some buss coloring from AirWindows.
