That behaviour is exactly like virus or malware.

It can't have the behaviour of a virus or malware, because it isn't one.

The only explanation I can think of is that your Bitdefender keeps getting falsely triggered, sending you unnecessary notifications. I googled a bit about Bitdefender and its not that rare it seems.

Can you try to submit the files in question to Bitdefender? Apparently they can correct the issue within 72 hours. Link: https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/su ... wer/29358/

This is a problem with many "legacy" anti-malware softwares depending mostly on signatures. They give false positives because they compare strings of codes rather than monitoring each instance for bad behaviours.

i use kaspersky and i had no false positives or else when using genesis pro whatsoever. nada nothing nil.
thats with the legit paid plugin version from ummets website. can´t speak for the other stuff around from audio-sitez...
havent had a false positive with the win defender inbetween or avast before too. so i think, all these false positives news are either fake or the result of using cracked warez...

I highly doubt it. Unless he explicity stated that he works on it (I don't see that he did).

The whole architecture of Genesis Pro (third party custom modules which never were release as 64-bit modules) should make it pretty clear that it's a impossible task to port everything in it to 64-bit. Unless he re-structures the synth, of course.

Great, the plugin seems to be dead. I just hoped for an update that fixes the synths from resetting or changing their knobs when reloading a project. Makes it unusable as you always get a different sound each time you load a project. Really sad. It sounds great and had some nice options to play with.
