That people are mostly normal? Because I am a graphic artist by trade and I see nothing at all wrong with the GUI, from a design or aesthetic perspective. But it's a synthesiser, I am not all that concerned about how it looks, as long as it functions well and, honestly, I can only think of one better GUI paradigm that I've encountered in my 40-odd years of synth ownership.WTF were they thinking?
You can't have looked too hard because there's a dark/light option.Pretty much the first thing I did was to look if there's a way to alter the GUI. But seems that sh*t is hardcoded
Again, it sounds like a trip to your local GP could be in order. Because here's the thing - I look at a synth's GUI for the two or three minutes it takes me to get the sound I want. After that, I often never need to look at it again. So that's hundreds of hours of listening to how good it sounds, versus a few minutes getting the sound. To be fair, in the case of Concept, everything we use it in uses a tweak on the Default preset but I'm fine with that because the default preset sounds f**king awesome. I don't need every synth I own to be capable of doing every sound imaginable. If I can find a use for it in a handful of songs, then it's earned its keep. That "f**king brilliant" monster right in the middle provides a brilliant headache, nothing else.
