New Linux builds, revision 10721

Post

Hi folks,

another (truly unusual) year has almost passed, time for some updated Linux versions.

As usual, those are beta versions, so expect the unexpected.
We tested them in Bitwig, Reaper, Renoise and Ardour, and they worked in all those hosts.
But there might always be some undiscovered issues in specific Linux environments.
So please report here, if anything unusual is happening (in the plugins, not in the world in general, we all know about the current bugs in the planet Earth application).

Downloads:

ACE 1.4.1 10721 Linux
Bazille 1.1.1 10721 Linux
ColourCopy 1.0 10721 Linux
Diva 1.4.4 10721 Linux
Podolski 1.2.2 10721 Linux
Presswerk 1.1.4 10721 Linux
Satin 1.3.1 10721 Linux
Twangström 1.0 10721 Linux
Zebra2 2.9.2 10721 Linux

The downloads include Bazille 1.1.1 and Zebra2 2.9.2.

If you purchase The Bazille Cookbook, please check the Linux installation instructions, as there is no drag&drop on Linux, and the "install soundset" function isn't working, either (yet). Luckily, installing the soundset on Linux is pretty easy, nonetheless.

There is no updated The Dark Zebra (ZebraHZ) yet, we first want to make sure that the current versions are stable enough.
If so, we will update the ZebraHZ download package in a few weeks.

Update: ZebraHZ 10721 can be requested the usual way via the myLicenses form on the website.

The rest of the plugins aren't in a postable state right now, for a variety of reasons. We will deliver new versions of those as soon as we can (can't give a time frame, sorry).

To install, please use the included install script. Open a Terminal window in the location of the unpacked files, then type "./install.sh" (without the quotes), hit Enter, and follow the instructions.

We hope you are having a good time with the updated plugins.
Cheers,
Tas

Repro currently has some glitches we need to fix before we can post a new version.

Oh, nice! Thanks a lot for the updates.

thanks very much for supporting linux. If I understand it correctly, it's a labor of love on u-he's side, so I think it's fair to give something back by buying u-he products.

Are these compilation architecture specific?

Would it be possible to run effects or synths off a rPI?
Mac Pro 2x3.3 GHz X5680 64GB RAM - RME RayDAT - RME ADI-8 DS - Audeze LCD2 - Neurochrome HP-2 - Mackie C4 Pro

They're x86_64, so no Pi.

What a shame. Would be lovely to create a hardware synth using Diva and a pi.

It would, though the number of X-runs would be comical. It might have enough power for Hive though likely not that either.
