I checked out many of the free banks. I particularly like the October Rain one. :tu:

As for the Omnisphere banks (and Yearning Synths for Repro), assigning aftertouch to coarse pitch on every patch ruins the whole bank. Why would anyone want the pitch vacillating wildly each time a new note is pressed? :dog:
The rare times someone wants to control coarse pitch the pitch wheel is already assigned.

After manually disabling aftertouch and re-saving each patch there were actually some nice and useful sounds.

I also noticed the majority use only one layer which is pretty uncommon. This is fine, but it would be nice to have some included multis to show how they can be layered.

Anyway, thanks for the free banks, I might grab a few paid ones, but I wish it was clear which have this annoying coarse pitch modulation so I know what libraries to avoid.

Hi thanks a lot for your words. :)

If I recall correct in the latest Omnisphere soundbanks I didn't attach the AT to Coarse (tbh honest I like it to use it instantly to add some instant big pitch variation ) Generally in the majority of the last soundbanks I don't attach Aftertouch to any modulation - except from Pigments ones.

You are welcome, I hope you enjoying my sounds :phones:

Best,
Tolis

Hi!

i have a few of your banks (Sympan, 1980s...). 2 questions:

What's the difference between Sympan for Pigments and Sympan for Analog Lab V? Do I need to install both?

I looked for the png files so the banks would have pretty little pictures but can't find them in my downloads. Do your preset banks come without pictures?

Thanks!

Hi Please forgive me for delay of the answer.

Thanks a lot for getting my soundbanks.

The Analog Lab edition is for those who haven't Pigments but own Analog Lab. Arturia has a great integration between their synths so the Pigments presets could run on Analog Lab (the difference is that in Analog Lab there are no many editing tools of the sound like Pigments). So the presets are exactly the same and you don't have to install both - if you install the pigments bank then the sounds are also available in your Analog Lab V synth.

Yes you are right. In my first Arturia Synths soundbanks I didn't include the png files. You could download all the artworks of those here https://www.viciousantelope.com/product ... soundbanks

In my later soundbanks I include the artwork within the download.

Once again pls forgive me for the long delay!

Best,
Tolis
