There are some problems with using Scala files in Spire 1.5.10 on macOS Monterey (12.2.1) on both Logic and Live 11:
When I import a Scale file and select the imported scale it works fine, but when I save and re-open the project (without doing anything) it spire play only a high pitched note. If I select another scale (or the original scale back) it works again. It seems to be related to how Spire is loading the Scale file. This is independent of the preset. It happens with any preset, including init.
It's also independent of the scale file, the same problem happens on different scale files.

Spire has been updated to version 1.5.11. The update also includes fixes for microtuning issues.
