I was wondering if this year we will see Synthmaster 3. That would be great ...

Pretty sure its on the way AG. Don't think Bulent committed to a timeline, but think it could be in the next couple of months.

Hi,

That's what I am hoping for as well: releasing it Q4 of 2022. There were some hickups/delays on the way during the past months though: We had to finish up on Native Instruments NKS, and then VST3 upgrade for our products (since Steinberg dropped support for VST3, we need to convert our plugins to VST3, that's mandatory now as many users have been asking for that)

Do we know anything about what Synthmaster 3 will be like?

Just curious.. I like 2.9 much more then when I demoed it years ago. Recently I bought it for iOS, and will consider purchasing the vst onwards.

The only request I have for SM3 would be to have a data folder location option. Having it only on the C drive is very dated.

this IS already possible:

Head over to my documents/SynthMaster folder and edit RootFolders.txt file.

Sorry for the typo, as you might have guessed that it's the SynthMasterFolders.txt file, please edit this file:

(this is described on page 6 of the user manual by the way)

Type=SynthMaster Folder Locations
Version=1.0
RootFolder=D:\Program Files\KV331 Audio\SynthMaster

On my system the installation location is D:\Program Files\KV331 Audio\SynthMaster"

BTW, the installer asks for this data files location.

It all worked and all folders and files are moved to my data drive, including the config and .exe files.
My system image file will now be reduced in size substantially!

I am currently working on spectral analysis. That's an important tool/building block in doing some cool stuff for resynthesis + sampling.
