my house, car and wife total cost less than Nexus muahahahah i'm kidding ...no seriously,my old Golf cost less :):):)
Damn, where did you find a wife like that? Mine wanted an iPhone 15 Pro Max and a $4000 handbag this month alone.
$4000 handbag probably wouldn't happen in my house even if I was rich.

Iva wrote: Sun Aug 13, 2023 8:14 am I think Nexus ReFx should introduce Nexus subscribtion for all sounds for 10$/month or so. Times has changed. I don't see anybody in clear mind buying these expensive expansions when you can have, for example, all roland sounds for 3$ a month or many new serum/sylenth/spire patches for 10$/month on splice or get entire UVI catalog via sonic pass.
I can see myself buying new expansion packs for Rapid or Avenger to expand synth abilities, get new wavetables etc, but with nexus it's a different situation. Subscribtion is the only way for them to survive in the future. I am sure.
Or just get a Access Virus TI. The only reason why I bought all these plugins like Spire, Serum, Avenger and Nexus is that Apple killed the Access Virus TI support on Mac.

Has reFX recently changed the EULA? If so, what has been changed? It would be more convenient to have the information about the changes.

I have not found previous versions of the EULA on archive.org. Who has the reFX EULA for 2022 or earlier years? Could you please post it here? I would like to compare one of those with the current EULA.

Whatever the merits or otherwise of too many SQs and ARPs in useable settings, there's no denying how good these very-close-to-the-legal-wind these recreations are. You could use this one as a pub quiz.

EDIT - I spotted:

I Feel Love - Donna Summer
Let's Groove - Earth Wind and Fire
Oxygene pt II - Jean Michel Jarre
Supernature - Cerrone
Irene Cara - Fame
Good Times - Chic
Funky Town - Lipps Inc

Quite a few I knew I knew but couldn't place. Which did I miss, people?

Sounds great and i'd love to buy it, but you use a bad copy protection system, with the only result to have less customers (there are lots of people who avoid plugins that requires anything different from simple SN or key files).

Out of curiosity i searched for an illegal version and i found it. I'm against piracy, i use only software i purchase, the point of my post is just to let you know your copy protection system may damage you more than good.

We are not anymore in 2000, people who can afford it now, grab the software in the right way, so now you may lose money for no reason.

I hope you can consider to join the "good boys" such U-he, Fabfilter and many others, that are a living proof that this is 100% viable.

Thanks for reading

whats wrong with refx' copy protection?

Post

Seems that those who search for snide versions (but don’t use them!) don’t like it

Different strokes for different folks.

I too prefer SN but don’t find reFX system to be problematic.
