I mostly make beats, so I make a beat in 3 to 4 hours. If I feel it is not right after these hours, I give up on the project and move on to the next one.

It varies for me, but generally the best ones tend to happen more quickly, and the ones that are laboured over are also more laborious to listen to later.

I'll say a week. A few years ago, I did WeeklyBeats, where you try and finish a track every week for a whole year. That got me out of the rut of obsessing over things. I realized I could make music (relatively) fast and still be happy with it.
