Anyone knows if it's still possible to recall factory presets of this module after changing it internal batteries ?

Post

Unfortunatly the D110 does not have its presets in ROM. You have to load new ones via midi file or sysex. The good news is that the original factory presets in these forms are avalable all over the net :) Just pull down the file and upload it to your unit with any sysex or midi util ;)

beg to differ but yes it does have the factory presets in ROM. Can't recall sequence of button presses to get em back though......its been a while.
... no time for unnecessary politeness nor a debate ...

... you might not care but some members are actually human with feelings and stuff you know ???

This page: http://www.synthfool.com/rolinit.html
lists an initialization as:
D-110: Hold down WRITE/COPY and ENTER while powering up.
Don't know exactly what it does because my D-110 is in a box at the moment.

To reset the D-110 to factory state, including all the Internal Tones, press
<Enter> and <Write/Copy> and hold them in, then turn on the power. Be
warned though that you should save anything you want to keep first, because
this restores the RAM to "out of the box" state.

Very cool....I got my info from Roland back when I still owned one...they are known for having GREAT (note sarcasm here) tech support in my book ;) Its been awile since I had a D-110...traded it for a D-550. None the less good to know that there is an internal way of getting the patches back :)
