Cannot route in Logic Pro X

Hello, I have just purchased the full version of rapid composer and am trying to set up multi output in logic. The only way I can get the rapid composer window to show up is to load it in as a midi effect. But the only way I can get the output ports to appear is to load the au instrument. Which actually outputs nothing. I have my only track set to plugin host and channel 1, I have another track listening on rhythm composer output channel 1. I have the midi effect and the au instrument loaded on the same track. But nothing outputs I am getting no midi on the channel listening to rhythm composer channel 1. This is the simplest of set ups it just won't work.

yea, that's a host issue, and not an RC issue.. I suggest doing a forum search.. It's probably happened before..
