Note is inserted 1 octave too low

When I double-click a new note in Note Editing, it is always inserted an octave lower than the click. What could be the reason for this?

Already answered: I set a transition of -12 in the phrase properties. That effects the note input during note editing directly. Not necessarily in line with expectations. If I enter an absolute note directly, I understand it absolutely and do not expect the transpose setting of the phrase to have any influence.
