New carrier and modulator volume controls with a meter.
New flexible routing possibilities using sidechain signals.
New scalable UI with file preset browser.
A lot of improvements and fixes.
Not 100% backward compatible. Especially the input mode routing with the L and R channel is not available anymore. We have replaced it with new sidechain routing possibilities.

Probably worth noting that, according to the website, it's still in beta. The download link says 3.0.0 but the file still say 2.x.

And/or TAL-Phaser... But back on topic :
The older 2.2.1 version was able to vocode both the modulator and sidechain, while the sidechain was 'muting' the modulator, it seems it's not possible anymore. (Win/VST2)
When breaking stuff to this point, wouldn't be better to change the VST ID and be able to run both versions?

afaik most if not all of the plugins will gradually get updated in time.
Fair point re the VST ID for Vocoder, I'll pass that on to Patrick.

I have them both installed, just changed the file-name and fx-name in Reaper to Vocoder 3 and they both work in Reaper on Linux, so I'm not entirely sure that VST ID is the same already. But Reaper handles plugins in its own way, also...

The VST and AU show the date of V2 and "V3" as the same.
