Many times in bluegrass you'll see a person playing an open D string as well as the unison D played on the 5th fret of the A string. The two unison notes are stroked at different times, but their sounds overlap each other. You can hear an example during the intro to Salt Creek https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1d3df9huerA. Is there a way to program overlapping notes to sound correct? I want the first stroke to keep sounding when/after the 2nd stroke occurs. Right now I do this using two tracks. The first stroke is on one track and the 2nd stroke is on the other track. I'd rather do this on a single track, but without knowing any tricks, it doesn't sound quite right when programmed the straight-forward way. Some VSTis accomplish this using MIDI Guitar channels. Does Renegade support that? Any other ideas? Thanks
