Augustus Loop OSC tempo sync

Sorry im very new to coding and I'm trying to add a line to my AL script that sends an OSC message to the daw to set the tempo to whatever the Master Loops tempo is. This is much less performance intensive and stable and allows me to use DAWs other than Bitwig or Ableton that have external midi clock sync. I cant for the life of me figure out where or what the parameter is that stores the current tempo of the master loop. Again i am very new to coding, craving mastery over AL and XfadeLS made me finally learn .lua.

okay so there is no way to set the tempo of the daw to ALs tempo at the instant record is released?

No. The closest functionality is AL's ability to send MIDI clock.

Is it possible to add a "Tempo" parameter and possible a button that syncs the daw without having to use midi clock?

No. There's nothing in the plug-in API that lets it inform the host of the tempo.
