Can you help identify a vocal production technique?

How to do this, that and the other. Share, learn, teach. How did X do that? How can I sound like Y?

Hey! Thanks for any opinions you have on how they achieved that vocal production during that section of the song (from 2:02-2:18).

I wonder what happens if I press this button...

If you're talking about the vocal stack then it's a vocal stack of notes; some static notes (an A for example) and a few harmony style notes. And then they'll be compressed and treated.. bit of saturation, tiny bit of room verb

Yeah, I thought it was chorus effect as well. But I forgot to play with a chorus effect because a lot of people have been suggesting layered multitrack harmonies stack panned in various directions, so I've been focused on experimenting with that. But the resulting stack is sounding monotonous.

I'm sharing the sound so you all can hear. The lyrics in question are all of the times you hear "Tell Somebody." "Tell Somebody" repeats 3 times during this snippet:

We added the vocal synth plugin (on #1 and #2 "Tell Somebody"), because the layered vocals by themselves were sounding monotonous and not that subtle cool chorus effect I referenced in the Miley track. We left #3 "Tell Somebody" without the synth for variety.

While, I like the synth effect, I've got to experiment with more chorus next... Thanks for the reminder!
