Does TAL Sampler emulate the recording stage?

I see that TAL DAC is split into two stages, recording and reconstruction. Does TAL Sampler do this same thing under the hood or would it be more accurate to record samples through TAL DAC prior to using them in TAL Sampler?

Yes & No.

I have reviewed both for Higher Hz and unless something has changed, while the DAC does have a dual In-Out architecture, the similar features in Sampler are not split. This means that there is not a little bitty "shitty" ADC stage BEFORE any of the "synth" functions, only the DAC for the output. This deffo isn't the same as having a real Emax in front of you.

That said, if you settle with Sampler, it is a fine tool

Thanks for the clarification. I've had TAL Sampler for awhile, and I like it. I ended up watching your entire video and I especially enjoyed the history lead-in!
