Efx Motions locking up

Bought and registered/activated Efx Motions earlier today.
Trying to use inside REAPER 7.0 or Blue Cat Patchwork, but the screen keeps locking up after changing values or presets two or three times on the Efx Motions editor screen. After the lockup,
I have to go into Task manager to End the process (REAPER/Patchwork).

Windows 10 Home 64 bit (latest updates)
Using VST3 (didn't install VST2 version, so don't know if that does the same).

Anybody else getting the same thing happening?
