.
Your Osmose is now set as an MPE controller

Some key features worth checking :

1 In the adjust tab, make sure Pressure is assigned to "ch. press" (channel pressure)
.
4.jpg
.
2 make sure aftertouch is assigned to "CC 74"
.
5.jpg
.
3 In the sensitivity tab, make sure bending is set to "1/48"
.
6.jpg
.
4 scrolling to velocity/pressure menu, this is where you can adjust the depth where osmose is triggering a new note and use the curves to ease/enhance MPE reactivity.

I may have encountered a problem

When using CLAP format in bitwig, modulating the cutoff of diva with the channel pressure introduces some noise/distortion, only with seaboard.

platform used : macbook pro m1 2020
DAW : Bitwig studio 5.0.11
controller : Roli Seaboard 1

cannot reproduce in Live 11
cannot reproduce in bitwig with osmose instead of seaboard

Audio file showing the issue: modulation with Osmose, then modulation with seaboard

Preset used in the audio file:

There is a problem in Bitwig which can lead to some weird noises, e.g. when using Note Expressions with CLAP, but we were told it's on Bitwig's side and they will look into it.

Btw, thank you for the amazing "how to" explanations. Great work. :tu:

Maybe wait until the updates are officially released.
We are contemplating some ideas on how to improve the whole MPE setup, but I can't tell how quickly we'll be able to implement those ideas. Might very well be something that has to wait for a future update, not sure yet.

Yay! CLAP MPE is working now in Bitwig 5.1 beta 7!

and fortunately, I can switch to Bazille's original skin, enable MPE and switch back to gearporn and it still works. :tu:

Time to finally do some testing :)

ACE working well in REAPER with minimal setup on the DAW's end. REAPER distributes notes and CCs across channels automatically starting from channel 1 and going up with polyphony, returning to lowest channel as they are freed. Using a Sensel Morph.

In VST3 I had to set PB manually. In CLAP it is locked to +/- 12 no matter what PB is set to.

Also, CLAP version crashes if a REAPER selection loop reaches the end with repeat enabled.

Can't test rest as they are in active projects.

ACE CLAP version works fine in Reaper over here, and no one else reported such a problem yet.
Would you contact our support and send some more information about that so we can investigate?

I've narrowed the issue down to the option: Preferences > Audio > Playback > Flush FX when looping.

If enabled, it crashes on loop. It's for specific use cases with certain non-instrument FX so I don't think it's necessarily a u-He problem to fix.

Awesome, thanks for that. I can reproduce this now. And it's indeed Reaper misbehaving.
I have posted the issue in the Reaper forum just now.

Bazille:
I had to rollback because this revision started "clicking" in one of my active projects at the beginning of the track

edit2:
wtf now 12092 is clicking as well.

the issue is "dist" module.

if I enable "dist" module on init preset, the track will click on playback start in Logic 10.8.

I'm not sure where all these clicks are coming from but i don't remember them. Was the clicking in Diva fixed?
"No reset" does not fix bazille click.
I have to actually automate track mute to get rid of it.

That is most likely the result of a bugfix as Bazille now resets properly on playback start.

This means, rolling back is not going to work in the long run as we will not change that behaviour. It would however be great to have an example project, maybe just that one track with Bazille that clicks, the first few notes, so we can assess if there is a chance to make it not click in the future.

sorry i kept editing the original post.

Logic 10.8 Apple Silicon, either 12092 or 15139 15152.
New blank project, new track, init preset, enable "dist" fx, start playback == click

same with 10.7.9 and 12029 native silicon
Rosetta 10.8 + 12029 rosetta - click

click is also audible if i just enable/disable "dist" module

edit:
click also audible if i enable 16 samples latency (i generally keep it to "off")

edit2:
i sent a video to support mail
