My Nektar Panorama T4 just broke. I accidentally dropped it on a irregular surface and it messed up the usb port.

I don't need the keys. I just want faders, pots and buttons in a midsized footprint.

Since you don't need the keys...
Or is this too small?

Have you reached out to Justin about getting your T4 fixed? Nektar has always struck me as a company that works hard to take care of their customers.

Justin is great but honestly my warranty has long since expired and shipping alone would prolly cost more than simply replacing it with something smaller.

I'm debating if I should get Nektar Panorama P1

Mostly I just need the midi cc stuff.

Both have advantages and disadvantages.

Quneo
Like
- Surface touch sensitive pads, strips and dials.
- Visual feedback from the control surface
Dislike
= Micro usb I'm always thinking what if I need to replace the cable at some point. Everything is A or C these days. If I pick one up used

Panorama P1
Like
- Sturdy footprint
- DAW and plugin integration
- Screen Display
Dislike
- No X/Y Pad

99.9% of my needs regards having faders not knobs for plugin CC values and buttons for key switching.

The little Komplete Kontrol M32 has ribbon controllers that can do that. A Touché SE would be even better and it’s not expensive.

Yeah I noticed the JRR listing on reverb. It's a good price. I've been unemployed for over a month now. I'm set to start my new job this week at a higher hourly rate but a lower rate of hours. I'm getting hit with a lot of not good financial surprises as well. I'm pretty much cleaned out for the next month or so.

Saw that, impressive

So just an update. I picked up a used Nektar P1 for $85.00 on reverb.

I only had about 45 minutes to run it through the paces. It works great in the nektarine environment. Better than the P4 mostly due to the bigger display area. It on the other hand is very challenging to get it to work outside the nektarine environment simply getting it to use midi learn.

Nonetheless I'm very happy with it. It fits snugly on my folding table with my linnstrument.

New computer arrives next Tuesday and a new "smart tv" is just around the corner. I'm reluctant to make any more purchases till they arrive and are set up. Switching computers as rarely as I do becomes a chore onto itself just moving software and re unlocking it.

Sorry I'm just seeing this thread now. Bummed about the demise of your T4 but happy to hear you are digging the P1. Still, if you'd like to resurrect your T4, I'm sure we can work something out. Just send an email to support@nektartech.com.

All is for the best.

So just an update that may amuse some readers.

If you are going to get a 65 or 75 inch smart tv... Get it delivered!!!
Apparently Samsung is discontinuing it's Tizen line. I'm at my local Miejers. (Which is like a wallmart) and the 50 inch ones were on sale for $350, Think about it, don't buy. come back and they are sold out of everything but the 75 inch ones. I didn't want it delivered I wanted to take it home and have it that day. So I go to another MIejors not far from me. The 50" are out of stock but the 65" are only $425 with tax. Sold all sales final
Talking to the sales rep as I'm heading out the door. Which Truck is yours? I don't have a truck I've got a medium sized sedan. Dawns on me that there is no way that thing is going to fit in my car and no way I can Jed Klampet it on to the roof.

Standing in the parking lot thinking what to do next. Call my sister, she's got a Jeep Wagoneer it will fit. Vicky is mostly good in a pinch. She's 70 all of 4' 8" and maybe 80 Lbs. We get it into the back no problem. But she has things to do. I wanted to get it home and hooked up. I figure if I get it back to my building, do an unboxing outdoors. and am real careful I can climb two stories with it. @ 5'6" 110 lbs I've got a few challenges to face. But it's not like I can't lift and carry my own weight I can. Unboxed the thing is 45 lbs.

Today would have been the perfect day. My sister blew me off. The next two days I'm working doubles as a coworker had to be hospitalized for severe burns due to a deep fryer incident. The following two days my sister is watching her grandbabies. If I would just stuck to a 50 inch TV I could have had Bestbuy deliver it too my door in 48 hours. But no. I had to be dazzled by the 65 inch smart tv.
