I would like to have an audiofile (or event, clip, however it‘s called) splitted into several multibands and got them saved as separate audio files. Which DAW, plugin, tool could do that? Any ideas, experience in that direction?

Hey

They're called stems.
The best option to do it yourself is UVR5 (Ultimate Voice Remover)
You'll need to learn on youtube how to use it but it's not too hard.

There are online services as well but I'm not up to date on what the good ones are.

Thanks for your reply, but I meant split to multiband in the frequency range, not separating voice, or instruments. Or is this also possible with this UVR5?

Set up a new template with one track for each band you want. For example, have 3 tracks, one that only has low frequencies, one for the mids, and one with only highs.

Put the audio clip on each track.

Export all individual tracks. Voila.

In seconds, create contrast in your builds and transitions by automating low end, high end, gain, width, and washout.
