I put 2 songs in my music website: 'Bitter Stranger' is the song on top, and 'Space Martian-Boogie2' is the next song down. Please tell me how you like the music and how it can be improved, and I will return the favor. Here is my link:

Okay, here goes

Bitter Stranger - First thing I noticed was the mix. This is really good. The drums are crisp and cut right through without being overpowering. Everything sits just right. Musically, love it. Nice little touches with the synths here and there. All in all, a very interesting tune. Kept me engaged all the way through. Honestly, can't find one thing to pick on.

Space Martian Boogie2 - I had a preconceived idea of what this was going to sound like before I even heard it. Something about the title. Well, much to my surprise, it didn't sound anything like what I expected. Not that that's bad. It just surprised me. Anyway, really cool tune. Another great mix. Love that bass line. The guitar work is excellent. And of course your synths are so cool and in just the right places. My only complaint, way too short. I could have listened to this at least another 2 to 3 minutes.

wagtunes,
Thank you for checking out both of my songs, and for your comments! I appreciate it! I have used plenty of wah-wah pedal effect on my guitar through the years, though you might not of noticed I used (Heil) Talk Box guitar in "Space Martian Boogie2". I might use Talk Box more often, but I find it much easier to use wah-wah pedal guitar, and typically get better results. I wish I was half as good as Peter Frampton when using a Talk Box. I have read Eddie Van Halen couldn't get decent results with a Talk Box; he had someone else do it while Eddie played guitar. I find it quite difficult to play guitar with a dang plastic tube sticking out of your mouth and try to make it "talk".

Bitter
Ooh, lovely moog bass pluck at the start, guitar blends with it great. Terrific intro.
Good guitar solo @1:10, goes on slightly too long with a screechy ending thats a little bit too screechy for me ;p. Do you play your own guitar by the way?
Vocals great and full of character. Great synth lead too @3:10> very creative.
Well done - overall, very good!

Space
Do you know what that bass intro reminded me of? "Beds are Burning" by Midnight Oil. Have you heard of that? Actually give it a listen because their singers vocals are not too far from yours too!
Visceral throaty guitar, which I quite liked, as well as the lazer fx. Without vocals, it does lack a dimension, but its a good track.
(no new music from me)

Bansaw,
Thank you for listening and for your comments; I appreciate it! I started playing electric guitar in 1986. Since that time, I have had only one other guitar player play on one of my tunes, and that was well over 30 years ago. Oops, I thought of another exception: this guy I met on the internet (he was in a band managed by one of the 2 guys in Tears For Fears) that had a song with drums, electric bass, maybe some record scratching, and rhythm guitar; he didn't know what else to do with it. I added vocals and lead guitar to that. I had someone I met (jcub) on this forum play Chapman Stick on two songs we did together. Yes, I am familiar with "Beds are Burning"; yes, some of the electric bass is somewhat similar.

The second track's opening bass actually reminded me of "Human After All" by Daft Punk haha. I really like this one, but the only thing that bothered me is that some of the rhythm guitar parts would definitely sound best double-tracked.

The synth leads in the first track are my favorite part in that one; reminds me a bit of Streets of Rage.
