What's happend whith the site from AlgoMusic?
http://www.algomusic.nl
I got the Message:
Sorry, deze website is tijdelijk afgesloten.
I'm looking for StringSynth or M42 Nebula.
Maybe this is the sound I'm looking for.
Is there an alternate website, where I can download StringSynth?
Sorry, deze website is tijdelijk afgesloten.

Just went there and it seems fine to me.
( we are planning a new re-design of the site, so your post cuaght my attention that maybe the DR was working on it)
BUT..our motto is "we aim to please" so here are direct links:
String Synth
http://www.algomusic.nl/ARimages/StringSynth.zip
M42 demo
http://www.algomusic.nl/ARimages/M42d.zip
( 10MB )
The M42 manual
http://www.algomusic.nl/ARimages/M42V1%20manual.zip
Of course the string synth is free, but M42 nebula is only $45.00...not too bad for a space arama synth. But check out the demo to see if it fits your needs. A lot of people are happy with it and ver 2 is on the horizen..free to registered users.

Hello,
thank you for this links.
I hear Opuim.mp3 at the moment. WOW !!!!
I love it, and the other songs too.
How can I make songs like Opuim.mp3?
Is there a little How-to?
I know, I need M42 Nebula as instruments.
But I will understand the layer.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Matti

well...one of the main features of M42 is that if you check out the RYM and SEQ patches in the demo, they are basically "hold a chord", ( for RYM patches)or "hit one note" for the SEQ patches, and it already has all that rythmic stuff already built into the sound. But there is a technique in playing these types of patches. You have to be RIGHT ON THE BEAT when you do chord changes, otherwise it might sound out of sync.I talk about this in the manual.
As a side note, some of the SEQ patches ( like SEQ Opium, from which the Opium MP3 is based) uses a split keyboard technique, in which you use one finger to trigger the sequenced arpegio on the lower keyboard ( on the A key for example) and you can then play a lead/ melody in the key of A on the upper keyboard. Very nice, and takes this into the realm of live performance. You can do a Kitaro track all in one pass!
Hope this helps a bit. anybody else with more comments?
