i wrote a 2 bar drum loop listen here and then ran this through livecut for about 10 mins, altering settings along the way. i then edited the best bits into order (this bit took a while  ), and stuck the resulting audio through a bandpass filter for the "low fi" sound.

glad you like them 8)

cheers,

steve.

you have to try trashcutproc in BBCut for supercollider, that's no problem if you have a mac.

it's full of sextolets and things like with idiomatic trash-style rythm cuts. that was too much work porting it in livecut, but this one is really interresting, you really have to try it.

cheers

Had a quick glance at supercollider. looks quite techinical w/ programming code and all. I am not much of a coder. is it difficult?
seems like the more experimental producers are the actual coders for the applications. :hail:

My song (8-11-05) is set to automatically play here (http://www.myspace.com/chuckparsons). Done live with fl studio 5.02c and recorded via the channelgrabber vst.

I made this track the other night with LiveCut all over the drums:

Let me know what you think. Try to ignore the clipping - it hasn't been properly mixed at all.

Here's my first use of Livecut: I've never made D'nB, so I applied it to a guitar track. It's called Walking in the Ruins, and you can find it at http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu ... 0909015257
The only other effect on the guitar track is MDA Leslie on the intro, the drums are BFD CM edition+Blockfish and the bass is CM303+jklimo, all put through Final Mix in Tracktion2. Let me know what you think...
Coffee please, black, no sugar.
