The Endless Series are four effect plugins based on an auditory illusion known as "Circular Pitch" or more commonly the "Shepard Tone/Scale" after Roger N. Shepard who discovered it in the 1960s. Shepard showed that using basic additive synthesis it's possible to create the illusion of a continuously rising or descending chromatic scale. The term circular pitch was used because, although the scale sounds as if it is moving in one direction, in fact, after twelve steps it returns to where it started. For more info see Wikipedia.
Endless Flanger is a circular pitch/barber-pole flanger - instead of flanging up and down the frequency spectrum, it appears to continuously flange in one direction.

Gatecomb is a stereo comb filter. The frequency of the comb filter is controlled by an AHDSR envelope which is either triggered in sync with the sequencer or by the the incoming audio reaching a certain threshold. Grainfreeze is a basic granular synthesis effect plugin, designed to create the illusion of freezing incoming audio like the Reaktor "grainstates" instrument. There are four different grains. When you press freeze, the audio goes into the four grains/buffers. There is an envelope to control the shape of the grain and to smooth the sound. You can set a different length for each grain and also delay the time at which the buffer is stored. You can also create a fade so that the frozen audio gradually appears. The Doppler Effect is the name given to the perceived pitch change when a sound source moves past the listener. The pitch is higher as it approaches and lower as it moves further away.
