hey guys, im running mulab 6, i have an Alesis SR-16 drum machine. I want to experiment with MIDI and would like to MIDI the machine to the daw, and use it as a controller/trigger to sequence and use the pads etc. Ive have previously attemped this, (Got MIDI usb cable), got halfway through the process...i could trigger sounds on the daw, but not actually sequence the note to the grid.....please help.
